Mike Anderson, Cider Maker
After completing a B.Sc. in Biology, our cider maker, Mike Anderson worked his first harvest in the lab at Jackson-Triggs Estate where he was introduced to the science of winemaking. Wanting to pursue a career in wine, Mike completed his Masters Degree in 2011 from the Wine Research Centre at the University of British Columbia, just-in-time to join Nk’mip Cellars as a harvest intern. Since then, Mike has continued to work at numerous vineyards and cellars throughout the Okanagan. And, in his spare time, enjoys golfing, hiking and fishing.
